Muara Takus Temple

Muara Takus Temple is a Buddhist temple located in Riau, Indonesia. This temple complex is located in the village of precisely Barelang, District XIII Koto Kampar Regency or the distance is approximately 135 kilometers from the city of Pekanbaru, Riau. The distance between this temple complex in the village center Barelang approximately 2.5 miles and not far from the edge of the Kampar River Right. This temple complex surrounded by a wall measuring 74 x 74 meters outside the walls there are also arealnya sized ground 1.5 x 1.5 kilometers surrounding this complex sampal to Kampar Kanan river.

Within this complex there are also old temple buildings, temples and Mahligai Youngest Stupa and Palangka. Temple building material composed of sandstone, river rock and brick. According to sources original, bricks for this building built in the village Pongkai, a village located on the downstream side of the temple complex. Former mining land for the bricks until now regarded as a highly respected residents. To carry bricks to the temple, done in relay from hand to hand. This story must be true although not yet give the impression that temple building was the work together and conducted by the crowds.

Apart from the Old Temple, Temple Youngest, and Palangka Mahligai Stupa, in the temple complex was also found that mound kiln is estimated as human bones. Outside the compound there are also buildings (the former) is made of brick, which has not been established types of buildings.

14 Prisoners Escape

Pekanbaru, RIAU, - total of 14 prisoners Police Sector Bukit Raya, Pekanbaru, Riau Province on Sunday afternoon (28/8) to escape. A total of nine others successfully confined back some time after the incident.

"Of the 14 prisoners who escaped, nine of them caught. Today, five prisoners still being pursued by officers," said Head of the Riau Police spokesman, Superintendent Guntur Aryo Tejo in Pekanbaru.

Guntur explained that the incident occurred the escape of 14 prisoners on Sunday at 11:30 pm this afternoon. The incident happened during the lunch hour for prisoners.

Is Aiptu Suteri, duty officer who was on duty. Suteri intended to provide rations for lunch to as many as 33 prisoners in different cells.

Guntur said, these cells consist of two different door the main door and the room door. As usual, Aiptu Suteri provide rations for lunch passing through the main door before distributing through one by one through the cell door.

Suddenly, one of the unidentified detainee named Leo pushed Aiptu Suteri until fall. In fact, Aiptu Suteri persecuted by Leo who later assisted dozens of other prisoners who had his cell door open.

After Aiptu Suteri disabled, 14 detainees escaped from the hotel. However, nine prisoners were arrested when the effort will be blurred after caught a police picket. Five prisoners escaped out of the police compound Bukit Raya.

The Impact of Bringing Handphone to School

Mobile phones are very popular means nowadays. This modern technology has changed from its main function as communicative means to media of information and entertainment.

How is the impact to students? There must be good and bad impacts of bringing mobile phone especially for students.

Some people agree that mobile phone has many benefits. Beside as a mean of communication, mobile phones can be used when people get bored. They can watch video or listen to music, and also be active in social media.

The good impact for students in school is as a mean of searching information for lesson reference. If teachers ask student to find materials in the internet, mobile phones may help to find the materials.

Some other people think that mobile phone has bad impact especially for students.

Students are easily losing their concentration everytime the phone rings. For example, BBM notification, SMS notification, and also a phone call during learning process make studens lost of focus.

Students are not sensitive to social life because they often check their mobile phone. Students prefer chat on social media to chat to his friends directly.

By those two points of view, the good effect of bringing mobile phone to school may be the reasons to bring it. Meanwhile the bad effect should be reduced by rules of using mobile phone in school.
